Linda Morris
Linda Diane Morris, age 72, formerly of Union City, passed away peacefully on Sept. 24, 2026, at 11:42 a.m. at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev.
Linda was born on Nov. 3, 1953, in Union City to Willis “Bill” Euel Osteen and Mary Sybil (Wingo) Osteen-Morgan.
Linda was a hardworking and accomplished woman who dedicated much of her career to serving others. She worked for Golden Entertainment as a Surveillance Officer and also worked for the United States Government on the Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk project. She was also a part owner of a trash company in Boulder City, Nev.
Linda’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her two daughters, Sybil Lanae Plagman (Matt) of Martin and Bridgett Sanae Morris (Frankie) of Las Vegas.
She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Daphne A. Pullen (Josh) of Martin, Zachary A. Jordan of Martin, Mary A. Jordan (Joe) of Henderson, Nev.; Rebecca A. Fandrich (Kalli) of Lincoln, Neb.; Brooke S. Plagman of Pahrump, Nev.; Sheldon D. Mattern of Las Vegas; and Levi O. Williams and Gunnar B. Williams, both of Las Vegas.
Linda was a proud great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren, Ashlynne S. R. Jordan and Lucas A. Pullen, both of Martin, Bryce I. Gonzalez-Jordan of Henderson, Nev.; and Bennett A. Uroza of Pahrump, Nev.
She is also surved by many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willis E. Osteen; her mother, Mary Sybil Osteen-Morgan; and her brother, Terry Lee Osteen.
Linda chose to be cremated. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in Linda’s memory to one of the organizations that reflect causes important to her family: the American Heart Association, the Epilepsy Foundation, Wreaths Across America and Down Syndrome Association.
