Martin firefighters use new simulator to train

With high-rise buildings and dormitories on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Martin, firefighters need to be prepared for challenging situations.  A new simulator, just acquired last year by the Tennessee Fire and Codes Academy, will help firefighters across the state train in breaching, bailouts, rappelling, using standpipes to transport water up through a building, and much more.  The simulator pumps smoke into the interior to simulate real situations.
