Betty Fisher
Betty Fisher, 82, of Hornbeak passed away Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Mitchell Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Monday.
Pallbearers will be Dan Fisher, Dillon Fisher, Zachary Anderson, David Anderson, C.J. Anderson and Darryl Holder.
Betty was born Dec. 18, 1943, in Memphis, daughter of the late William Columbus and Fannie Mae (Looney) Rines. She married Dan Edwin Fisher Sr. Dec. 23, 1965. He preceded her in death Nov. 22, 2023. Betty was a homemaker and a member of Hornbeak Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, quilting, cooking and working in her flowers.
She is survived by two sons, Ted Fisher and wife, Laura, of Hornbeak and Dan Fisher and wife, Kelly, of Obion; six grandchildren, Jeremy Fisher, Ashley Fisher, Zachary Anderson, Elizabeth Rice, Dillon Fisher and Megan Fisher; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Loura Fisher Anderson; three sisters; and four brothers.
