April Ann Henderson

April Ann Henderson, 74, of the Walnut Log community passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, at the result of injuries sustained in a automobile accident.
A Celebration of Life service was conducted 3 p.m. Sunday at New Hope Bible Church near Union City. Brother Darrell Hoffman officiated.
Visitation was held at New Hope Bible Church from 1 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
April was born April 22, 1951, in Samburg, daughter of the late Amos “Cotton” Smith and the late Jean (Dean) Hoffman. She married Danny Henderson July 6, 2003. April had been employed as a waitress and caretaker. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and taking care of others. April enjoyed cooking for family members and friends and riding around with her husband. She was a member of New Hope Bible Church.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Henderson of the Walnut Log community; one daughter, Misty Bell of Hornbeak; one son, Shane Glisson of the Walnut Log community; four grandchildren, Amber Pirtle (Sidney) of Chambersburg, Pa., David Reynolds (Kimberly) of Union City, Nicole Glisson (Josh Neil) of South Fulton and Michaela Glisson of Union City; six great-grandchildren, Dayton Reynolds, McKenzie Reynolds, Ava Grace Reynolds, Maya Glisson, Zayden Neil and Jolie Pirtle; four sisters, Judy Cheatham and Nena Mitchell, both of the Shawtown community, Robin Long (Billy) of Union City and Carolyn Region of St. Charles, Mo.; five brothers, Vic Smith (Patty) of Union City, Steve Smith of the Shawtown commuity, Bobby Joe Smith of Troy, Spencer Hoffman (Claudia) of Marmaduke, Ark., and Robert Earl Hoffman of Samburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Crystal Jean Smith.
