Bobby Dial

Mr. Bobby Dial, 92, a resident of Troy, died May 30, 2025, at Obion County Nursing Home.
Services were held Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 2 p.m. at White & Mahon Funeral Home. Bro. Frank Dalton officiated.
Burial followed in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Nick Dial, Bobby Griffin, Anthony Willams, Colton Beeler, Rob Muse and Steve Huey. 
The family received friends from noon until 2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Dial was born on April 25, 1933, in Union City to the late John Washington and Naomi (Blanton) Dial. He worked as an Insurance Salesman for 35 years. On Dec. 25, 1955, he married Joanne Cunningham. She survives. He was a member of New Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder. He enjoyed farming, fishing, camping and antique tractors. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. He was a Mason for over 60 years.
He is also survived by a daughter, Debbie Dial Barker (Steve Huey); two sons, Mike Dial and wife, Trish, and Greg Dial and wife, Shanna, all of Troy; eight grandchildren, Jessica Dial (Anthony) Williams, Jennifer Dial (Colton Beeler), Jordan Barker (Zack) Lanagan, Nick (Diana) Dial, Jennan Dial, Bo (Holly) Pate, Matthew (Kellie) Cummings and Josh (Jaime) Buffington;  and eight great-grandchildren, Gavin McGuire, Grayson McGuire, Josie Dial, Bennett Dial, Raimee Williams, Brenna Pate, Kara Pate and Lydia Pate.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Kent Dial; grandson, Elliott Dial; and three brothers, Larry Dial, Damon Dial and Donald Dial.
