AGRICULTURE FUN — Obion County Farm Bureau celebrated Farm Day on Friday at Obion County Central High School with assistance from members of the school’s FFA organization. Fourth-grade students in the county school system enjoyed a day of learning about honey, tractors, farming, plants, animals and soil. Among them were South Fulton Elementary School students Bricen Simmons (left), 10-year-old son of Heather Dowden of Martin and Ed Simmons of South Fulton, and Zaiden Saucedo, 9-year-old son of Joseph McCoy of South Fulton. Holding a chick from the Tyson Foods tent for the students to pet was educational assistant DeeDee Lee of South Fulton.
