INTERIM REP NAMED

INTERIM REP NAMED — Casey Hood (left) of Obion visited with county commissioners Terry Roberts (center) and Paul Albright after this morning’s Obion County Commission meeting at the county mayor’s office. Hood was appointed this morning by the commission to serve as interim state representative for the 77th District Tennessee House of Representatives seat vacated by Bill Sanderson of Kenton, whose resignation was effective Thursday. A special election will be held in the near future to choose Sanderson’s successor, with Hood to serve in an interim capacity in the meantime.
