Dr. John Robert Sellars, age 71, died on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Humboldt.

Minnie Florence Bannon, 87, of Trezevant, formerly of Dresden, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015 at her residence. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden.

LeRoy Bates, 83, of Greenfield, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bates Family Cemetery in Greenfield.

Lucille Ella Polk Howard, 91, of Martin, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015 at VanAyer Healthcare in Martin. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Abby T. Huffstetler, 94, of Greenfield, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 at NHC Health Care. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Greenfield.
