Linda Muirhead
Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Joyce Muirhead, 84, of Kenton, who passed on March 12, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday March 18, 2026, at Mortimer Funeral Home in Greenville, Miss. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the start of the service. Serving as pallbearers are John Paul Muirhead, Steve Thompson, Keith Hoover, Paul A. Muirhead, Cade Palmer and Cody Lunsford. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Greenville, Miss.
Linda was born to Woodrow and Estell Webb in Greenville, Miss., on June 16, 1941. She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church and worked for many years at La-Z-Boy Manufacturing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow W. and Estell Webb; her husband, John T. “Skip” Muirhead; two daughters, Linda Les Thompson and Mary Denise Womack; a brother, Jerry Webb; and two sisters, Carolyn Nuttal and Gayle Kuphner.
She is survived by two children, Ricky Muirhead (Angie) and Mark Muirhead (Chris) of Kenton; and three siblings, Bobbye Joe Robison of Cleburne, Texas, Patricia Gordon of Pope, Miss., and Debbie Meadows (Rick) of Sentinel, Okla., as well as nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
