June Stover
June Grady Stover, 93, of Union City passed away peacefully Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at Etheridge House Memory Care.
Funeral services will be conducted noon Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Tony Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Tankersley, Alan Faircloth, Tony Hunt, Mike Grady, David Moran, Roger Woodward, Lochlan Faircloth and Elliott Tankersley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ashley Faircloth, Livvy Faircloth, Stan Haskins, Andrew Jackson, June’s lifelong friends, Louise Parnell, Jo Ann Williams and Wilma Wheeler and the staff of The Etheridge House and The Etheridge House Memory Care.
June was born Sept. 10, 1933, in Troy, daughter of the late James Alvin and Ludie Vera (Cottrell) Grady. She married Dwayne W. “Smokey” Stover March 16, 1956. He preceded her in death Aug. 31, 2015. June had been the owner/operator of Stover Enterprises in Union City for over 40 years where she was a Shaklee Distributor. June enjoyed running her business because it gave her the opportunity to meet many people, and travel to several foreign countries and most of the United States. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a member of First Baptist Church in Union City.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Stover Tankersley of Union City; two grandchildren, Dr. Ashley Michele Faircloth and husband, Alan Faircloth Jr., of Mustang, Okla., and Tyler Tankersley and wife, Keri, of Somerville; three great-grandchildren, Livvy Faircloth and Lochlan Faircloth, both of Mustang, Okla., and Elliott Dwayne Tankersley of Somerville and she is expecting another great-granddaughter this Thanksgiving; and her brother, Jerry Grady and wife, Carolyn, of Troy.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jo Hunt; and two brothers, James Lynn Grady and Billy Warren Grady.
