Domma Huey

Ms. Domma Garner Huey, age 81, of Hickman, Ky., passed away on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at her residence.
She was born on Aug. 27, 1944, in Hickman to the late John Wesley Garner and Lilas Bowers Garner.
Ms. Huey was a faithful member of First Church of God in Hickman. She retired from the Fulton County School System, where she was employed 32 years in food service. In her spare time, she enjoyed making perpetual calendars, completing word search puzzles and listening to Kenneth Copeland. She was also a member of the American Red Cross.
She is survived by two daughters, Kim (Gary) Land of Union City and Jerilyn (Darrel) Tarkington of Hickman; two grandchildren, Christopher (Emily) Farley of Dyersburg and Christina Corrigan of Fulton; four great-grandchildren, Ezekiel Scott Alexander of Hickman, Zipporah Alexander of Fulton, Nehemiah Alexander of Fulton and Riley Farley of Dyersburg; several other great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, Weslynn Alexander.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Bonnie Sue Strain, Julia Marie Watson, Vera Lou Scott and Carol Lachon Weatherly.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Hickman. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.
