Martha McKnight
Mrs. Martha Jane McKnight, age 97, of South Fulton passed away Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, at The Waters of Union City.
She was born on Oct. 10, 1926, in Paducah, Ky., to the late Austin B. “Pete” Roberts and Martha Lillian Roberts.
Martha was a member of Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church and may be remembered as a former volunteer at Fulton Public Library. She retired from the former Bellsouth-AT&T in Fulton, where she worked in the business office.
She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca McKnight (John Hamilton) of Germantown; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob McKnight; and three sisters, Mary Frances Wilson, Barbara “Tootie” Samons and Carolyn Edwards.
A private service will be held at a later date.
