Phillip Casey
Phillip E. Casey, age 77, of Union City passed away Monday, Jan. 22, 2024, at St. Thomas West in Nashville.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Casey was born in Union City on July 17, 1946, to the late Ray Casey and the late MaryO Zimmerman Casey. He married Sally Williams Casey on June 19, 1987. She survives.
He retired from Goodyear. He was a 1964 graduate of Union City High School and then went to David Lipscomb University and also attended classes at Vanderbilt University and graduated in 1968.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Casey is survived by his son, Shane Casey and his wife, Kim, of Fayetteville, N.C.; two daughters, Kendi Casey of Nashville and Angie Collins of Dickson County; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his brother, Tom Casey and his wife, Trish, of Dunwoody, Ga.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Casey.
