Brent Williams Sr.
Mr. Phillip Brent Williams Sr., age 65, of Union City and formerly of Hickman, Ky., passed away Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, at his residence.
He was born on Feb. 11, 1958, in Hickman to the late Cecil Williams and Mary Edna Love Williams.
Brent was a retired boat captain for AEP River Operations and lived most of his life in this area. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and University of Kentucky Basketball fan. He loved his dog Sarge and Smokey the cat.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Henderson Williams, whom he married Aug. 15, 2005; two grandchildren, Dylan Williams of Lexington, Ky., and Karlie Williams of Hickman; a daughter-in-law, Merry Williams of Hickman; a stepson, James Tyler Dunn of Hickman; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Williams Jr.; a stepson, Justin Dunn; three brothers, Donnie Williams, Richard Williams and Mickey Williams; and a sister, Freida Templeton.
Funeral services for Mr. Phillip Brent Williams Sr. will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel-Hickman, with burial to follow in Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel-Hickman from 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, until the hour of service.
