Shorty Brandon
Klyce “Shorty” Brandon, age 88, of Troy passed away Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, at The Waters of Union City.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Johnnie Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday beginning at noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
Shorty was born in Troy on Aug. 17, 1935, to the late Manson Richard Brandon and the late Mary Jennings Brandon. He was an Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. He was retired from Pierce Grocery and was a member of Mt. Ararat Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, William, Clarence, L.D. and Melvin Brandon.
