Phillip Bynum

Phillip Bynum, 79, of South Fulton, passed away Thursday, Oct. 20, 2023, at his residence. There was no service held. Phillip was born on July 3, 1944 in Graves County, Kentucky to the late Charlie Reed Bynum and Sarah Irma Owens Bynum. He was a United States Army veteran where he served in Vietnam and was a retired truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Anna Nell Knight Bynum, who he married May 5, 1986; his children, Ruby Michelle Rundell of Martin, Donna Jean Buhl of South Fulton, John Robertson of DeSoto, Mississippi, Teresa Tutor of DeSoto, Joyce Robertson Smith of Wiggins, Mississippi and Glenn Twining of Hilton Head, South Carolina; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons, Phillip Curtis Bynum and Dan Joseph Twining; and his siblings, Hubert Bynum, Charles Robert Bynum, Mary Sue Joyner, Helen Bynum and Phyllis Bell.
