James McGehee

James Donald “Don” McGehee, 88, of Martin, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, at Diversicare of Martin. Graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Monday, at East Side Cemetery in Martin, with Rev, Kylan Mann officiating. Burial followed with Murphy Funeral Home of Martin in charge of the arrangements. Mr. McGehee was the owner of Office Products of Martin for many years and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Garrigus “Dot” McGehee of Martin; four grandchildren, Donny Jay McGehee, Chandler Grant McGehee, Abbie McGehee and Hayle McGehee; and a great-granddaughter, Jaycee Marie McGehee. Mr. McGehee was preceded in death by his sons, Tony McGehee and Tracy McGehee; and his parents, Elvis and Myrtle Cannon McGehee. Online tributes may be left at murphyfuneralhome.net.
