William Thomas
William Frank Thomas, age 96, of Cordova passed away Friday, Aug. 11, 2023.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, in Mt. Olive Cemetery, with Bro. John Thomas officiating.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Thomas was born on July 26, 1927, in Obion County to the late Chester C. Thomas and the late Thelma Brown Thomas. He married Mrs. Gay Hailey Thomas on Dec. 22, 1951. She preceded him in death on March 12, 2023.
He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and graduated from Woodland Mills High School in 1944.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his brother, Jerry Thomas and his wife, June, of Union City; two sisters-in-law, Ann and Elizabeth Hailey; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his daughter, Beth Hailey Thomas; one brother, John A. Thomas; and infant sister, Susan Raye Thomas.
