Dennis Bruner

Mr. Dennis Wayne Bruner, age 76, of Martin passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at AHC-Union City.
He was born on July 23, 1946, in Fulton to the late Emmuel Bruner and Imogene Thompson Bruner.
Dennis was a member of Ruthville Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and was the oldest active member. He served in the Tennessee National Guard for six years and was a retired member of the Cumberland Aires. He was also a member of the Coffee Club. Dennis was a retired electrician and foreman for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) in Martin.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Roberson Bruner, whom he married April 29, 1966; two sons, Keven (Michelle) Bruner of Martin and Kelly (Mitzi) Bruner of Obion; four grandchildren, Grace (Brant) Luker of Lexington, Tenn., Emma Bruner of Martin, Kaleb Bruner of Obion and Adam Bruner of Obion; and an aunt, Edna Earl Roper of Hickman, Ky.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Hornbeak Funeral Home, with burial in Sandy Branch Cemetery.
Visitation was held at the funeral home from noon Sunday until the hour of service.
