Sara Bradley

Sara Glenn Jones Bradley, age 99, of Union City passed away Monday, May 29, 2023, at The Waters of Union City.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2023, in East View Cemetery, with Bro. Glenn Watts officiating. The family will receive friends Friday beginning at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bradley was born in Rives on Dec. 8, 1923, to the late Earl Tillman Jones and the late Glennie Palmer Jones. She married Mr. John Bradley on Aug. 26, 1943. He preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 2013.
She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Union City and retired as a Vice President of Commercial Bank in Union City.
Mrs. Bradley was a member of the CP Snider Sunday School Class, served as an elder and was a member of the Ladies Missionary Society. She served as treasurer of the Central Elementary PTA. After she attended Draughns Business College in Memphis, she was employed as a bookkeeper at Brown Shoe Company, Rite Merchandise, Robinson Grain Company and Old and Third Bank.
Mrs. Bradley is survived by her daughter, Glenda Cozart and her husband, Seth Harold, of Union City; her granddaughter, Harriet Buter and her husband, Steven, of Byron Center, Mich.; three great-grandsons, Silas Lawrence, Isaac Whitaker and Theodore Jones Buter, all of Byron Center, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Whitney Glenn Cozart; and two brothers, Earl Palmer Jones and Max Phebus.
