Charlie Williams

Charles “Charlie” Williams, 86, of Hornbeak passed away May 1, 2023, at home.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, May 13, at 11 a.m. at Samburg Assembly of God Church.
He retired from Chrysler in Belvidere, Ill., and loved to fish, watch birds, sightsee and spend time with his family. He was a member of the Ridgely Senior Center.
He is survived by his wife, Candy Williams; three sons and the wife of one, Andy (Barb), Marty and Michael Williams; two daughters and the husband of one, Deana (James) Borders and Lori Jordan; more than 30 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; two stepdaughters and the husband of one, Jennifer (Barry) Kneubuhl and Robin Olson; his sister, Juanita Franks; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; four brothers, Lewis, Richard, Lynn and Haskel Williams; and three sisters, Mary Barnett, Shirley Burdin and Peggy Rinks.
