Martha Muse

Our Mother, Martha Nell Tune Muse, age 90, has gone home to be with the Lord.
She was blessed with 90 years of faith, family, work and good health.
A springtime memorial service to honor her will be on May 6 at Campground Cemetery in Troy at 11 a.m.
White-Mahon Funeral Home in Troy is in charge of arrangements.
Martha was born April 30,1932, to George Sr. and Gladys Tune in Troy. George R. Tune II was her brother. On May 5,1950, she married Edward Darrell Muse in Troy. Ed and Martha had four children: Jeanine, Darlene, Dennis and Melodie. The family moved several times for Ed’s job.
Martha returned to school and earned a college degree and worked at Delnor Community Hospital for 18 years. Mom loved the Bible and read it cover to cover 20 times. Her favorite verses were: John 3:16 and 3rd John 4.
Martha is survived by her four children and their spouses; 12 grandchildren and their spouses; and 16 great-grandchildren. The Tune family surviving Martha include Anita Myrick, Cheryl Caulk, George Tune III and their families; and sister-in-law, Brenda Tune.
