Cody Green

Cody Allen Green, age 23, of Kenton passed away from this life on Monday, April 10, 2023, at home.
Funeral services for Cody were conducted on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Kenton Church of God, with Bro. Dennis Cleek officiating. Interment followed in Sunnyside Cemetery.
Cody was born Sept. 24, 1999, in Dyersburg, the son of Jesse and Candace (Ellis) Green. He worked with TDOT as a road worker and truck driver. Cody was a member of Kenton Church of God.
Cody is survived by his parents, Jesse and Candace Green; his girlfriend, Ellen Currie; grandparents, Allen and Pam Stafford and Jerry and Peggy Green; uncle, Jeremy Green (Alicia); aunt, Holly Newman (Terry); sisters, Kayla Kesterson, Jessilin Green and Kealy Coble (Blake); nephew, Bentley Coble; and cousins, Autumn Green, Lindsey Green, Scout Green, Emileigh Newman and Dylan Newman.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023, in the chapel of Kenton Church of God.
