Polly Ann Horne

Mrs. Polly Ann Horne, 84, of Obion died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, at Union City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Feb. 7, 1937, the daughter of the late Dan “Tuck” McDonald and Julia Redditt McDonald. She was a retired school teacher, having worked in the Dyer County and the Union City school systems. She was a member of Obion First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a brother and his wife, Danny and Kathy McDonald of Obion; two nieces, Dana McDonald and Leslie McDonald, both of Obion; and a nephew, Travis McDonald of Obion.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Horne.
Graveside services will be held at 1:45 p.m. Sunday at Rosehill Cemetery in Obion. The Rev. Terry English will officiate. Pallbearers will be Alan Jordan, David Glover, David Gordon, Larry Albright, John Buchanan and Kenneth Sanders.
Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Evans, Rick Brock and Jerry Carver.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion.
The family requests everyone practice social distancing and wear masks to visitation.
