Patty Bing
Patty Lou Bing, age 79, of Kenton passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Patty was born Jan. 13, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Jack and Olla Hinson Peevyhouse.
Patty Lou Peevyhouse Bing is survived by her devoted husband, Tommy; her three children, Paul Crowell (Kim), Belinda Choate (Steven) and Janie Little (Jody); her siblings, Dee Peevyhouse (Willie Mae) of Mayfield, Ky., Joe Peevyhouse (Doris) of Tyson Store Community, Kenton, Shirley Dunn of Rutherford and Martha Dickson of Newbern; sisters-in-law, Birma Peevyhouse of Dyer and Shirley Peevyhouse of Rutherford; six grandchildren, Tyler Little (Autumn), Zach Marbrey (Natalie), Haley Hayes (Tyler), Kalie Beth Crowell, Alyssa Choate and Austin Choate; seven great-grandchildren, Addie Kate Little, Kade Hayes, Penelope Hayes, Sadie Little, Maggie Little, Josie Little and Sadie Lee Marbrey; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charlie Peevyhouse, Clarence “Tootsie” Peevyhouse, Albert Peevyhouse and Calvin Peevyhouse.
Known lovingly as “Granny,” Patty loved her family unconditionally and found her greatest joy in being surrounded by them. She cherished the simple things in life — fishing, gardening, cooking and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness and steady presence brought comfort and happiness to all who knew her.
“Granny” will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Janie Little.
