Bessie Lou Tune
Bessie Lou Tune, 94, of South Fulton passed away Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at Obion County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Russell Zik will officiate. Burial will follow in Johnson Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until the hour of services Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Tune, Dennis Pitman, David Parks, J.D. Dockins, Sam Sinclair and Allen Edmaiston.
Bessie was born Feb. 15, 1932, in South Fulton, daughter of the late Raymond Arley and Grace Inez (Crockett) Roach. She had been employed as a food service associate at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Bessie was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City. She loved her church and had a gift of serving and helping others.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Tune Agee of Fulton, Ky.; five grandchildren, Ashley Powell Duncan and husband, Bobby, Adam Tune and wife, Jana, Mitchell Davis and wife, Kristen, Joseph Tune and wife, Courtney, and Rachel Agee; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded by her son, James Arley Tune; and three sisters, Willowdean Zickefoose, Mary Nell Amptman and Bonnie Ruth Eastep.
