GETTING A LIFT — Abby Gaskins of South Fulton and her 21-month-old daughter, Meleah Cox, enjoyed a bird’s eye view from the Fulton Electric System’s bucket truck during Saturday’s touch-a-truck event as part of the Fall Fun Downtown activities in the Twin Cities of Fulton and South Fulton. Ms. Gaskins works for KenTenn EMS, which was also on the scene to participate along with police and fire apparatus. The day’s other activities included pumpkin painting, kids games and bounce houses at the new Ventures Village area off Lake Street. The evening events included a trunk-or-treat at SF’s Unity Park and movie night at Fulton’s Pontotoc Park. Events were hosted by Fulton Tourism, Community Ventures and the Fulton and South Fulton park boards.
