Sherry Ferrell
Mrs. Sherry Lynn Ferrell, 70, of Union City passed away 7:23 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024, at her home.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. today (Oct. 16) at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Chip Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the hour of service today.
Pallbearers will be Lance Taylor, Jacob Austin, Brennon Elam, Kaido Kajandi, Roland Collins and Caleb Courtney.
Sherry was born Nov. 12, 1953, in Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late Orville Ray Howard and Martha Ray (Orr) Taylor. She married Dennis Ferrell on Jan. 4, 1988. He passed away March 5, 2013.
She retired as a nurse from the former Methodist Hospital in Dyersburg and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Lauren Elam (Brennon) of Duncan, S.C.; two sons, Jacob Austin (Kristi) of Tampa, Fla., and Christoph Schneider (Birgit) of Barcelona, Spain; one sister, Judy Kirk of Covington, Ga.; one brother, Lance Taylor of Covington, Ga.; two grandchildren, Kaido Kajandi of Tampa, Fla., and Amaila Schneider of Barcelona, Spain; and several nieces and nephews.
