Evelyn Clark
Evelyn Howard Clark of Hornbeak passed away at 9:54 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at The Arbors of Union City.
She was born in Baltimore, Ky., on Jan. 4, 1936, to Raymond and Sarah McWhorter Hutson. She was a retired seamstress from several clothing companies and a member of the Walnut Log Baptist Church. Evelyn was 87 years old.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Dale Clark; children, Sandra Howard Stepp of Coco, Fla., Mark Howard of Water Valley, Ky., and Jamie Howard of Hopkinsville; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest Howard; parents; and children, Deliah Howard and Randall Howard.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023, at Brown Funeral Home in Wingo, Ky., with burial following at the Calvary Community Cemetery. The Rev. Charles Southerland and the Rev. Eric Burress officiated the services.
The family received friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023, at Brown Funeral Home in Wingo.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Williams, Cole Williams, Trace Williams, Bruce Thompson, Davie Stephens and Josh Howard.
