Teresa Phillips

Mrs. Teresa Ann Ferguson Phillips, 72, of Martin, passed away Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, at her residence. Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Teresa graduated from South Fulton High School and Freed Hardeman University. She was born at the Fulton Hospital in Fulton, Kentucky, on July 9, 1951 to the late Alvin Ferguson and Hazel Welch Ferguson. She worked as a supervisor of medical records at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City for 45 years. She lived all her life in this area and was a member of the Gardner Church of Christ. Teresa is survived by her husband, Ronnie Phillips, to whom she married Jan. 11, 1974; two daughters, Lee Ann (Dustin) Rainey of Dresden and Amanda (Adam) Hollis of Greenfield; four grandchildren, Alivia Rainey and Dax Rainey, both of Dresden, Tripp Hollis and Hazlee Hollis, both of Greenfield; one sister, Vickie Keeling of Hickory, Kentucky; her aunt, Judy Ferguson of South Fulton; a sister-in-law, Priscilla Dean (Roger) Allen of Kingsport; brother-in-law, Jimmy (Paula) Phillips of Burke, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends.
