Peggy Carr

Mrs. Peggy Dianne Carr, 66, died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023, at her residence in Dresden. Graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Cate Cemetery, with pastor Daniel Rutledge officiating. Burial followed with Murphy Funeral Home of Martin in charge of the arrangements. She was a retired registered nurse for Weakley County Nursing and Rehab Center in Dresden and was of the Pentecostal faith. She is survived by her two stepsons, Alan Carr of Martin and Patrick Carr of Madisonville; and three grandchildren, Xavier Carr, Savannah Carr and Ahnaliese Carr. Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Carr; and her son, Chris Ross. Online tributes may be left at murphyfuneralhome.net.
