Billy Gene Cooper, age 92 of McKenzie, formerly of Dresden, passed away on September 14, 2023 at Henry County Medical Center. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 17, 2023 in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Bowlin Funeral Home from 11:00 am until service time at 2:00 pm. Mr. Billy Cooper was born in Dresden, TN., to the late Tollie H. Cooper and Ruby Lillian (Insco) Cooper. He was a United States Air Force veteran, a carpenter, factory employee at Milan Arsenal and Leland Powell in Martin during his lifetime. He is survived by his sons; Eric (Mistee) Cooper of McKenzie, TN., Billy Cooper of Dresden, TN., his daughter, Dena (Kenneth) Herane of Springville, TN., his sister, Sue Ellen Oseman of Union City, TN., grandchildren, Chastity Workman, D-Ray Workman, Jacob King, Savanna Dyer, Alan Cooper, Kelsey Albertson, Selena McBride, and 6 great grandchildren.
