Mary Johnson
Mrs. Mary Juanita Johnson, 90, a resident of South Fulton, died Aug. 30, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home. Dr. Ron Cox officiated. Burial followed in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Jeff Morris, Jerry Bailey, Joshua Campbell, Roger Alford, Ben Roberts and Don Shepherd.
The family received friends from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johnson was born on May 18, 1933, in Hickman, Ky., to the late James “Grubb” Love and Mary (Gilliland) Carta. She worked as a Warehouse Manager for Republic Gear. On Jan. 8, 1950, she married Rufus Johnson. He preceded her Jan. 30, 2022. She was a member of South Fulton Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, David Johnson and wife, Cathy, of Gaylord, Mich.; daughter, Terri Wilson of Cocoa, Fla.; six grandchildren, Shannon Buie and husband, John, of Elk City, Okla., Jason Urquhart and wife, Regina, of Melbourne, Fla., Laura Crosby and husband, Dennis, of Fort Dix, N.J., Joshua Campbell of Japan, Wade Munro and wife, Judy, of Macomb, Mich., and Kelli Young and husband, Steven, of Shelby Township, Mich.; and 11 great-grandchildren, Addison, Savannah and Charlotte Urquhart, Rylan and Logan Crosby, Hailey and Cole Buie, Tyler, Michaela and McKenzie Munro and Brooke Young.
