Kay Maynard
Regina Kay Maynard, 66, of Union City passed away 12:46 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21, 2023, at Bells Nursing Home.
Graveside services were conducted 3 p.m. Tuesday at East View Cemetery. Brother Ron Gray officiated.
Edmaiston Mosley Fun-eral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Kay was born May 16, 1957, in Union City, daughter of the late Bill and Mary Ruth (Dotson) Yates. She was the widow of Ronald Gene Maynard, who preceded her in death Jan. 9, 2014.
Kay had been employed as a custodian at First Baptist Church in Union City and was of the Baptist faith. She loved animals, especially cats.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lindsay Dee Ann Molands and husband, Jason, of Jackson; two stepsons, Mitchell Maynard and Brandon Maynard; and two grandchildren, Katie Beth Rudd and Jason Tyler Molands, both of Jackson.
