Melvin Anderson

Melvin Denver Anderson, 92, of Union City passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023, at The Waters of Union City.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023, at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Bro. David Hagan officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from noon until the time of service.
Mr. Anderson was born on Feb. 9, 1931, to the late Dewey Anderson and the late Verna Smith Anderson. He married Patricia Nash April 5, 1977. She survives. He worked for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City as a CRNA for several years and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Anderson is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Hooks, and her husband, Gray, of Troy, Brandy Doyle, and her husband, Jerry, of Venice, Fla., and Amy Edmonds Beevers of Jackson; six grandchildren, Matthew, Laura and Elizabeth Hooks, Tiffany French, and her husband, Seth, and Michelle and Nicholas Beevers.
