Betty Whitson

Betty Ann Still Whitson, 71, of Clinton, Ky., passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Whitson was born in Tiptonville on July 30, 1951, to the late Allen Gene Still and the late Rose Marie Jones Clark. She married Thomas Larry Whitson July 12, 1969. He preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 1991.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Morris and her husband, Matt, of Clinton, Ky.; her son, Patrick Whitson of Kenton; three grandchildren, Lawrence D. Parish, Chloe Whitson and Maleia Whitson; two great-grandchildren, Evan and Amaris Edwards; four sisters, Sheila Ward and her husband, Mark, of Union City, Rose Hill of Little Rock, Ark., Patsy Dial of Union City and Sharon Rhodes of Dresden; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Karen Alderice; and her stepfather, Enoch Clark.
