Polly Jett

Yvonne “Polly” Beatrice Johnson Jett, age 91, of Union City passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Magnolia Place in Union City.
Graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023, in Obion County Memorial Gardens, with Bro. Justin Hiens officiating.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Jett was born Jan. 25, 1932, in the Walnut Log community to the late Oval Johnson and the late Irene McQueen Johnson. She married Mr. Paul Jett on Oct. 8, 1948. He preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1981.
She was retired from Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.
Mrs. Jett is survived by two sons, Perry Jett and his wife, Mitzi, of Newbern and Philip Jett of Brentwood; grandchildren, Heather Riley and her husband, Scott, of Troy, Bryan Paul Jett and his wife, Ashley, of Arlington, Tenn., Lindsey Burns and her husband, Barrett, of Dyersburg, and Austin and Brandon Jett of Brentwood; three great-grandchildren, Brooke Cary and her husband, Tanner, Bryleigh Snead and her husband, Houston, and Brody Riley; and eight great-great-grandchildren, Bryley, Presley, Jude and Bella Jett, Jett and Bear Burns, and Trace and Townes Cary; and three sisters, Betty Barber and her husband, Wayne, Janie Gill and Jackie Russell and her husband, Bobby.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Paulette Jett; and her grandson, Heath Cunningham.
