Linda Calhoun

Linda Ann Tisdale Calhoun, age 54, of Hornbeak passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023 at her home.
A memorial service will be held at Ellington Hall near Tiptonville on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 5 p.m., with Bro. Darrell Morgan officiating.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Calhoun was born in Covington, La., on Jan. 23, 1969, to Gerald Ray and Delores Elaine Coyne Tisdale. She married William Calhoun on January 24, 1987. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2021.
She worked for Black Oak Elementary School but spent many years caring for her family as a homemaker.
Although she loved her Tennessee home where her family was, Ann never lost her love of all things Louisiana. She enjoyed crawfish boils, Mardis Gras, and Saints and LSU football. Above all else, she loved being a mother to her kids and a Mimi to her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Calhoun is survived by one son, Hunter Calhoun (Allye) of Tiptonville; two daughters, Niki Calhoun (Loren Sowell) of South Fulton and Kelley Morgan (John) of Manila, Ark.; grandchildren, Fisher Calhoun, Maggie and Everleigh Morgan, and Cruz and Vivian Sowell; two sisters, Jena Sharp and Amanda Tisdale (Jeremy), all of Folsom, La.; two brothers, Glen Tisdale of Covington, La., and G.R. Tisdale (Karen) of Birmingham, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, William Calhoun, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Dale and Jo Ann Calhoun.
