Harvey Rule

Harvey V. Rule, 95, of Troy passed away 10 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2023, at his home.
Graveside services were conducted 1 p.m. Monday at Bethel Cemetery in Atoka.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Harvey was born Aug. 7, 1927, in Glassboro, N.J., son of the late Clarence and Mary (Driver) Rule. He was married to Myrle (Crouse) Rule, who preceded him in death Nov. 6, 2008. Harvey retired with the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer with the United States Navy after 40 years of service and was a member of Ravenscroft Episcopal Church in Brighton.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Tom Rice of Union City; his son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Susan Rule of St. Marys, Ga.; three grandchildren, Victoria Rice of Union City, Wendy Powell and husband, Randy, and Heather and Jim Gibson, all of Middleburg, Fla.; and five great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Westlake.
