Thomas Davenport

Mr. Thomas Hayes Davenport, 68, a resident of Union City, died April 26, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of cremation services.
Mr. Davenport was born on Aug. 11, 1954, in Atlanta, Ga., to the late Thomas Virgil and Mary Elizabeth (Hayes) Davenport.
He worked as a cashier for Wal-Mart. On March 23, 1999, he married Idyl Gillette. She preceded him in death Aug. 26, 2019.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Union City.
He is survived by his adoptive son, Beau Falgout; three stepdaughters, Lisa Maness, Misty Maness and Angela Ransom; sister, Ann Hay; two grandchildren, Tiffany and Brandon Ransom; and three great-grandchildren.
