Lola Murchison

Mrs. Lola B. Murchison, age 91, of Clinton, Ky., passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 at the Clinton-Hickman County I.C.F.
She was born on April 15, 1932, in Graves County, Ky., to the late Nolan Holmes and Fannie Ozell Norman Holmes.
Lola was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City and was a homemaker. She lived most of her life in this area.
She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis (Jim) Bergant of Louisville, Ky., and Dena Jane Murchison (James) Morris of Springfield; two sons, Charles Reginald “Regie” (Debby) Hancock of Troy and Jerry Lee (Karen) Hancock of Danville, Va.; a stepdaughter, Leann (Freddie) Frizzell of Fulton; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Alta Lee Perry of Union City and Norma Hopwood of Symsonia, Ky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Hancock; and her second husband, James Angelo Murchison.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Hornbeak Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Sunday until the hour of service.
