Jimmy Thomason

Mr. Jimmy Dan Thomason, age 69, of Memphis died Wednesday, April 12, 2023 in Memphis.
Graveside services were to be held at 11 a.m. today, April 19, 2023, at Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak. Kevin Thomason was to officiate.
Cryer Funeral Home in Obion was in charge of arrangements.
He was born Aug. 31, 1953, in Union City, the son of the late Floyd Ray Thomason and Helen Erlene Payton Thomason. He was a property assessor for Shelby County Assessor’s Office and attended Lindenwood Christian Church in Memphis.
Mr. Thomason is survived by a stepson, Austin (Allie) Langston of Drummonds; a brother, Mike (Beth) Thomason of Obion; a half-sister, Judy Gray of Dyersburg; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were to be Mike Thomason, Austin Langston, David Bucher, Thomas Bucher, Danny Ross and Rick Langston.
Friends and family were asked to gather at the cemetery.
