Joe Alan Morgan

Joe Alan Morgan, 71, a resident of Union City, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Vanderbilt Med-ical Center.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at White-Ran-son Funeral Home, with Hunter Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday and run until the time of service at the funeral home.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Morgan was born in Joplin, Mo., Sept. 16, 1950, son of the late Lewis Arthur Morgan and the late Mildred Lela (Bledsoe) Morgan. He married Nelda (Hood) Morgan on June 3, 1972. She survives. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company after 37 years, and was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Morgan is survived by three sons, Clay Arlington Morgan and his wife, Brigitte, of Argyle, Texas, Drew Eliot Morgan and his wife, Tiffany, of Aiken, S.C., and Brad Alan Morgan and his wife, Becky, of Miami, Fla.; one daughter, Leslie Erin Morgan of Union City; eight grandchildren, Emanuel Morgan, Jacob Morgan, Mackenzie Morgan, Addison Morgan, Aiden Morgan, Ali Morgan, Liam Boykin and Knox Morgan; and two sisters, Julia Denise Morgan Holliday and her husband, Steve, and Jana Sue Morgan Blackwelder and her husband, Keith.
