Sherry Alexander
Sherry Alexander, 67, of the Clayton communtiy passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Eric Burress will offiicate. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until the hour of services Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Pilot Tate, Jim Curlin, David Kay, Lester Galbrath, Tim Stockdale and Chad Wherry.
Sherry was born Oct. 16, 1958, in Obion County, daughter of the late Eva (Priest) Alexander. She had been employed at Preuett’s Qucikmart. Sherry enjoyed working in her flowers, singing and spending time with her dogs.
She is survived by one son, Michael Tate of the Clayton community; one sister, Shelia Reed (Gerald) of the Clayton community; three brothers, Larry Alexander of Memphis, Donnie Alexander (Debra) of Union City and Steve Alexander (Barbara) of the Clayton community; and one grandson, Pilot Tate of South Fulton.
