Daniel Brown

Daniel Brown, 80, of Troy died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday at Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery at Parker’s Crossroads.
The Rev. Paul Cagle will be officiating. Burial will follow with military honors.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mr. Brown was born on Aug. 9, 1941, in Loveland, Ohio, to the late William Stanley and Loretta (Robbins) Brown.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator. On June 19, 1967, he married Barbara James. She survives.
He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Union City.
Mr. Brown is also survived by two sons, Daniel (Anne) Brown of Dresden and Aaron Brown of Killean, Ala.; a daughter, Rachel (Matthew) Bailey of Union City; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Odena Packard of Hamilton, Ala., Yvonne (Paul) Redmond of New Carlisle, Ohio, and Nancy Beach of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley Brown, Richard Brown and Ronald Brown; and two sisters, Naomi McCrea and Dorla Freeman.
