Grace Bennett

Grace Geraldine “Jerry” Reed Bennett, 90, Scottsdale, Ariz., passed away on May 11, 2021, in Scottsdale.
Jerry was a native of Greenwood, Miss., and a graduate of Greenwood High School. She was married to the late William E. “Bill” Bennett Jr. for 35 years. She retired as a manager for the Tennessee Department of Employment Security in Union City.
Jerry is survived by her brother, William F. “Bill” Reed (Phyllis) of Sandy Springs, Ga.; and her three children, Joyce Bennett Santis of Scottsdale, William Reed Bennett (Alice) of Harrison, Ark., and Philip A. Bennett (Esmeralda) of Yerington, Nev. She was Mimi to her beloved grandchildren, Christopher J. Lough (Lisa Carestia) of Yorkville, Ill., Mariel Santis Lefebvre of Scottsdale and Justin G. Bennett of Denver, Colo. She also leaves behind a host of other family and friends who loved her and will miss her. Funeral services and burial were held June 12, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis.
