Margaret Watts

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Watts, age 93, of Martin, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021, at her daughter’s residence. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in East Side Cemetery in Martin with Bro. Ricky Phillips officiating. Friends may assemble at 1:15 p.m. in the cemetery.Murphy Funeral Home in Martin are in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers will be Barry Harris, Brent Harris, Kevin Harris, Keith Harris, Bobby Pierpoint and Johnny Brundige. Honorary pallbearers will be Rex Pate, Fayette Mullins and Danny Powers. Mrs. Watts was a graduate of Martin High School, a homemaker and a member of Martin Church of Christ. She is survived by her children, Pam (Barry) Harris of Martin and Ronald (Lori) Watts of Idaho; sister, Rachel Thompson of Martin; three grandchildren, Amy (Chris) Mitchell of Yuma, Arizona, Brent Harris of Paris and Kevin (Ally) Harris of Memphis; and two great-grandchildren, Chase Mitchell and Harlow Harris. Mrs. Watts was preceded in death by her husband, Mayo Watts; her parents, Clifton Gregory and Ruth Hibbs Gregory; brother, Chester Gregory; and sister, Frances Pierpoint.
