GRIT AND GRATITUDE

GRIT AND GRATITUDE — Union City resident Rod McLendon’s career as a barber started from a childhood argument with his brother. That path has blossomed into a thriving 20-year business, The Royal Palace barbershop, and a clothing store, McLendon’s Apparel, which he and his wife, Carmella, own and operate. The McLendons credit their success to trusting in God, the support of family and friends and their determination to overcome adversity. The family business is located at 1429 South First St. in Union City.

This is one of the nicest and God fearing couples I know in Union City. They are loving and caring people. I truly trust them with my life. I thank God for putting them in my life They have come to my rescue time after time. I have moved from Union City since my husband passed, but they are still only an phone call away. I wish there were more people in the world like Rod and Carmella McLendon.
