Danny Storie

Danny Storie, 58, of Union City died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
A celebration of life service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at White-Ran-son Funeral Home, with Dan Huggins and Joe Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
His nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until hour of services Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope.
He was born July 30, 1960, son of the late Marvin K. Storie and Opal I. Storie.
He was formerly employed at Storie’s Union City Appliance Center and Sage’s Appliance Center in Union City. He was most recently the owner of Church Street Pool Room in Union City.
He was a lover of St. Louis Cardinals baseball and cared deeply for his friends and patrons at the Church Street Pool Room in Union City.
He was also a former Union City Jaycee, longtime supporter of the Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope and attended Refuge Church.
He is survived by his siblings, Larry (Ava) Storie of Jackson and Betty Storie (Don) Capps of Martin. He is also lovingly remembered by three nephews, Ryan (Ashley) Storie of Spring Hill, Gary Capps of Martin and Jason (Leigh) Storie; one niece, Lisa (Danny) Ervin; two great-nephews, Bo (Charity) Rider and Eli Ervin; three great-nieces, Kristy Rider, Kelly Rider and Izzy Scout Storie; one great-great-nephew, Bentley Rider; and two great-great-nieces, Emma Rider and Eriana Rider, all of Union City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin K. Storie and Opal I. Storie.
