Services were 2 p.m. Sunday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Jeff Bell officiating and burial following at Obion County Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, great-grandson and nephews.
The family requests that memorials be made to Bishop Street Church of Christ.
She was born July 19, 1928, in Obion County, daughter of the late James Franklin and Edna (Smith) Shields. She married Thomas C. Storey April 1, 1944. He died Dec. 4, 2001.
She was a member of Bishop Street Church of Christ and had been a volunteer at the former Beverly Health and Rehab.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Hicks of Martin; her son, Thomas R. Storey of Eads; five grandchildren, Teresa Lechnir of Prairie du Chien, Wisc., Catherine Jones of Martin, Timothy Storey of Winchester, Lewis Storey of Medina and Amanda Webb of Cordova; nine great-grandchildren; adopted family members, Larry and Dorothy Rice of St. Augustine, Fla., and Barry Rice and Zachary Rice; two nieces; and her nephew.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Shields and James Shields; her son, Franklin Storey, and her daughter-in-law, Myra Storey; her son-in-law, Will Hicks; her great-granddaughter; and her great-grandson.
